“The Best Experience in Saigon”
Our Vespa night tour of Saigon was everything we didn’t expect but thoroughly enjoyed. To say that we had a fantastic time is a definite understatement. The first stop would have easily been my favourite had it not been for that secret cafe that left me captivated. It was enigmatic, and there’s passion permeating the air that I felt like we were in a Paulo Coelho novel.
The moment we mounted up and hit the road was exhilarating; but to be part of the real Saigon – stopping for red lights side-by-side with some of Saigon’s biking demographic; riding past streets rife with history; dining on the sidewalks where the Vietnamese do (the best food I’ve had for the entire trip!) — is an experience like no other. True to their words, Patrick and Josh and their Vespa drivers took us around back-alleys where no tourists go.
We wish we had more time for that last stop, but alas we must catch our flight. But it was one great adventure to cap off our trip. The rarity of the experience is something I know we’ll yearn to return to. We hope we can come back for a longer Vespa adventure.
